Faith Families of African Descent Meeting for Marriage & Family Support (FFAMM, Inc.) has a narrow focus, with a far-reaching impact: We support Black people to build functional families.
Our services help to strengthen familial, cultural and socio-economic foundations that have been historically compromised, by connecting people to other like-minded people. We encourage family cooperation with finding a spouse, community involvement with supporting young families and contributing to society with civic participation. Help our cause by encouraging families to use our services, using your talents to volunteer with us, and sending prayers and "spendable-love" our way. |

"Lay the foundation, onto which
they will build - Families Strong."TM
Here's How We Help
First, we help families (collectively) identify what they value most, which often begins with the adherence to religious faith and worship of God. We support the institution of marriage and the building of strong families through our primary services:
VILLAGE-BUILDERS SERVICE
We support young and growing families by introducing them to other families who might share similar experiences. We commit to long-term service projects that connect people throughout the diaspora through skills-exchanges. We hope that our clients will build networks from positive relationships that last. FFAMM, Inc. also helps to create a positive community environment for young families to grow by influencing public policy, helping to inform people of color about the American political process and organizing around effective civic engagement. MARRIAGE-MINDED SERVICE We also help to connect families with marriage-eligible sons and daughters to others with similar values and goals. We encourage healthy relationship-building between them, which would ideally lead to courtship and marriage. Throughout the courtship process, we support the couple with family-building education and counseling services, extending through the first five years of marriage. All of our efforts are to redress historical policies and existing trends that negatively affect Black people, in the United States and beyond. FFAMM EMERGERS NETWORK TM EcocsystemEmergersTM create and sustain communities to ensure that their environments reflect their values.. They shift within ecosystems: Based on common interests, for collective action and for sharing assets. FFAMM, Inc. facilitates positive social change by identifying EcosystemEmergersTM and curating resources for people of African-descent to encourage and promote connections.
